| Nota de conteúdo | <br/><br/>RESUMO: <br/><br/>O uso de óleos essenciais com atividade biológica no controle de Myrothecium verrucaria foi<br/>estudado objetivando avaliar o potencial destes óleos no controle deste fitopatogeno.Os óleos utilizados<br/>foram os de estragão (Artemísia draconculus), tomilho (Thymus vulgaris), manjerona (Origanum<br/>majorona), menta citrata (Menta piperita var. Citrata), e manjericão roxo (Ocimum basilicum L), que<br/>foram extraídos por arraste a vapor. O fungo foi plaqueado em meio de cultura BDA sólido na presença<br/>dos óleos em diferentes concentrações, e permaneceu incubado a 289C por 7 dias. Os óleos de<br/>estragão, menta-citrata e tomilho na concentração 20 p.L foram capazes de inibir o crescimento do<br/>microorganismo. Enquanto, esta inibição só foi obtida com os óleos de manjerona e manjericão roxo<br/>na concentração de 200 pL.<br/><br/>Palavras-chave: Óleos essenciais, fungos, plantas medicinais |

| Nota de conteúdo | <br/><br/>ABSTRACT: <br/><br/>Control of fungus Myrothecium verrucaria by essential oils. The use of vegetable oils<br/>with biological activity in the control of Myrothecium verrucaria was studied. The tarragon oils (Artemisia<br/>draconculus), thyme (Thymus vulgaris), manjerona (Origanum majorona), mint citrata (Menta piperita<br/>var. citrata), purple basil (Ocimum basilicum L), they were effective agents in the control of Myrothecium<br/>verrucaria. Tarragon, mint citrata and thyme in the concentration 20 pL were capable to inhibit the<br/>growth of the microorganism. While, this inhibition was only obtained with the oils of manjerona and<br/>purple basil in the concentration of 200 pL.<br/><br/>Key words: Ant microbial activity, essential oils, and fungus |
