| Nota de conteúdo | <br/>ABSTRACT: <br/><br/>Components ofthe propolis essential oil produced in the city of Pio IX, in the state of Piaui.<br/>The present work reports the GC-MS analysis of the essential oil obtained from propolis produced in the<br/>city of Pio IX, in the state of Piaui, Northeastern Brazil. Seventeen components were identified, from which<br/>five were monoterpenes and 12, sesquiterpenes.
