| Nota de conteúdo | <br/><br/>RESUMO: <br/><br/>Objetivou-se verificar a incidência de fungos fitopatogênicos e a viabilidade do uso de<br/>extratos aquosos, em diferentes concentrações, na qualidade sanitária e fisiológica de sementes<br/>de serralha. Inicialmente foi feito teste de sanidade para verificar a incidência de fungos nas<br/>sementes. No primeiro experimento avaliou-se a eficiência do uso de diferentes extratos aquosos<br/>na qualidade sanitária das sementes. No segundo experimento avaliou-se a influência do uso<br/>dos extratos aquosos na qualidade fisiológica das sementes. O delineamento foi inteiramente<br/>casualizado, com 30 tratamentos: Duas testemunhas (água destilada/esterilizada e Vitavax<br/>Thiram®), sete extratos (alho, canela, coentro, hortelã, alfavaca, flor de seda e noni), em<br/>quatro concentrações (25, 50, 75, 100%), com quatro repetições. No primeiro experimento<br/>utilizou-se “blotter test” com restrição hídrica a -0,6 MPa e, após cinco dias de incubação à 20<br/>°C e fotoperíodo de 12 h, foi quantificada a incidência de fungos nas sementes. No segundo<br/>experimento avaliou-se: porcentagem de germinação, índice de velocidade de germinação,<br/>número de plântulas normais e índice de velocidade de formação de plântulas normais. Foram<br/>encontrados sete gêneros de fungos associados às sementes de serralha. O extrato de alho<br/>reduziu a incidência de Alternaria p., Cladosporium sp. e, Nigrospora, fungos de maior ocorrência<br/>nas sementes de serralha, todavia, interferiu negativamente na germinação dessas sementes.<br/><br/>Palavras Chave: Serralha, fungos fitopatogênicos, teste de sanidade, germinação, vigor. |

| Nota de conteúdo | <br/><br/>ABSTRACT: <br/><br/>Physiological and sanitary quality of Sonchus oleraceus L. seeds treated<br/>with plants extracts. In this study, were verified the incidence of phytopathogenic fungi and the<br/>viability of aqueous extracts, with different concentrations at physiological and sanitary quality<br/>of sowthistle seeds. Initially were made a sanity test for check the incidence of fungi in seeds.<br/>In the first experiment evaluated the effectiveness of using different aqueous extracts on the<br/>sanitary quality of the seeds and the second experiment evaluated the influence of the use of<br/>aqueous extracts on seed quality. In the first experiment, the following phytosanitary treatments<br/>were evaluated: control (untreated seeds); fungicide Vitavax Thiram® and extracts of garlic,<br/>cinnamon, cilantro, mint, wild basil, Sodom apple and noni at concentrations of 25, 50, 75 and<br/>100% whit four replications. In this experiment, was used the “blotter test” and water restriction<br/>at -0,6 MPa. After five days of incubation at 20 °C and 12 h of photoperiod, it was quantified<br/>incidence of fungi on seeds. In the second experiment, was evaluated the influence of same<br/>extracts on the germination percentage, germination rate index, number of normal seedlings<br/>and formation of normal seedlings rate index. Seven genus of fungi associated of sowthistle<br/>seeds. The garlic extract reduced the fungal higher incidence: Alternaria sp., Cladosporium sp.<br/>and Nigrospora sp.
