| Nota de conteúdo | Objetivou-se analisar os efeitos de um biofertilizante bovino líquido, sobre o crescimento e a biomassa do milho<br/>variedade “BRS 4103”, sob cultivo agroecológico participativo. Para tanto, o solo e o biofertilizante foram analisados<br/>física e quimicamente. O delineamento experimental foi em blocos inteiramente casualizados, com cinco tratamentos<br/>e seis repetições. Quatro tratamentos resultaram da combinação de solo + biofertilizante bovino: 50% da<br/>recomendação ótima, 75%, 100% e 125 %, e a testemunha absoluta. Analisou-se: Altura das plantas de milho;<br/>Diâmetro do caule; Produção de matéria seca da parte aérea e do sistema radicular; Produção de matéria verde da<br/>parte aérea e do sistema radicular. Os resultados foram submetidos à análise de variância. Posteriormente, quando<br/>significativos pelo teste F foram submetidos ao teste de médias de Tukey, a 1% e 5% de probabilidade. Também,<br/>foram realizadas regressões a fim de analisar as doses crescentes do biofertilizante. As plantas de milho que<br/>receberam o biofertilizante demonstraram melhor desempenho, quando comparadas às plantas que não receberam<br/>o insumo orgânico líquido; e, em geral, quanto maior a quantidade aplicada de biofertilizante bovino líquido,<br/>melhores foram os desempenhos.<br/><br/>Palavras-chave: insumo orgânico, fertilizante líquido, agricultura familiar.<br/><br/><br/> |

| Nota de conteúdo | Effects of biofertilizer on growth and biomass of agroecological maize in Piauí,<br/>Brazil. The objective of this study was to analyze the effects of a liquid bovine biofertilizer, on the growth and<br/>biomass of maize variety “BRS 4103”, under participatory agroecological cultivation. For this, the soil and the<br/>biofertilizer were analyzed physically and chemically. The experimental design was completely randomized blocks,<br/>with five treatments and six replicates. Four treatments resulted from the combination of soil + bovine biofertilizer:<br/>50% of the optimal recommendation, 75%, 100% and 125%, and the absolute control. It was analyzed: Height of corn<br/>plants; Stem diameter; Dry matter production of shoot and root system; Production of green matter of the aerial part<br/>and of the root system. The results were submitted to analysis of variance. Subsequently, when significant by the<br/>F test were submitted to Tukey’s test, at 1% and 5% of probability. Also, regressions were performed to analyze the<br/>increasing doses of the biofertilizer. The corn plants that received the biofertilizer showed better performance, when<br/>compared to the plants that did not receive the liquid organic input; and, in general, the higher the applied amount<br/>of liquid bovine biofertilizer, the better the performances.<br/><br/>Key words: organic input, liquid fertilizer, family farming |
