| Nota de conteúdo | <br/><br/>A Caatinga e a Mata Atlântica são dois biomas com uma elevada diversidade biológica, reunindo um expressivo<br/>número de táxons raros e endêmicos com importância ecológica, cultural e econômica. Quanto aos fungos poliporoides<br/>a Caatinga é menos explorada que a Mata Atlântica. A maioria dos trabalhos, até o presente estudo, sobre fungos<br/>poliporoides no Brasil foram realizados na Mata Atlântica. Oito coletas, quatro em cada bioma nos anos 2014/2015,<br/>foram realizadas, resultando em 196 espécimes coletadas, 161 táxons estudados e 61 espécies identificadas,<br/>distribuídas em oito famílias (Fomitopsidaceae, Ganodermataceae, Hymenochaetaceae, Meruliaceae, Mycenaceae,<br/>Polyporaceae, Schizophyllaceae e Steraceae), tendo o gênero Ganoderma P. Karst. o maior número de espécies nos<br/>dois biomas, com alta similaridade entre eles e uma maior diversidade e abundância no bioma Mata Atlântica.<br/><br/>Palavras-chave: Basidiomicetos, Ganodermataceae, diversidade.<br/><br/><br/> |

| Nota de conteúdo | Survey of polyporoid fungi from the Caatinga and Atlantic Forest of Bahia. <br/><br/>The Caatinga and the Atlantic Forest are two biomes with a high biological diversity, bringing together an expressive<br/>number of rare and endemic individuals with ecological, cultural and economic importance. As for the polyporoid<br/>fungi the Caatinga is less explored than the Atlantic Forest. Most of the studies up to the present study on<br/>polyporoid fungi in Brazil were carried out in the Atlantic Forest. Eight collections were carried out, four in each<br/>biome in the years 2014/205. They yelded 196 specimens, 61 species, eight families (Fomitopsidaceae,<br/>Ganodermataceae, Hymenochaetaceae, Meruliacae, Mycenaceae, Polyporaceae, Schizophyllaceae and Stereaceae).<br/>The genus Ganoderma presented the highest number of species in both biomes, with high similarity between the<br/>biomes and greater diversity and abundance in the Atlantic Forest biome.<br/><br/>Key words: Basidiomycetes, Ganodermataceae, diversity |
