As David Walker drove along the road, his thoughts kept churning round his business worries and the recent shock of his wife Evelyn's infidelity. If he hadn't been so preoccupied he never would have given a lift to the attractive young girl who thumbed him down. He didn't approve of hitchhikers on principle.
