RESUMO: 

O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar doses de nitrog&#xEA;nio aplicado via foliar, em
duas cultivares de manjeric&#xE3;o. Para isso foi utilizado um esquema fatorial sob delineamento
em blocos casualizados, sendo o primeiro fator as doses de N: 0,0; 275; 550; 825; 1100; 1375
g ha-1, e o segundo as cultivares sendo a roxo alfavaca basilic&#xE3;o vermelho e a verde toscano
folha de alface. As avalia&#xE7;&#xF5;es foram realizadas no aparecimento da infloresc&#xEA;ncia, avaliandose 
di&#xE2;metro de caule, altura de planta, n&#xFA;mero de folhas, proje&#xE7;&#xE3;o de copa, massa fresca e
seca de folhas e de parte a&#xE9;rea. Os resultados demonstram que a cultivar verde toscano folha
de alface apresenta maiores m&#xE9;dias, exceto para o n&#xFA;mero de folhas. O ac&#xFA;mulo de massa
de folhas e de parte a&#xE9;rea mostrou-se na cultivar verde, com respostas positivas obtendo
dose de m&#xE1;xima efici&#xEA;ncia, reduzindo apenas a proje&#xE7;&#xE3;o de copa de forma linear. Enquanto
na cultivar roxo as doses de N foliar promoveram m&#xED;nima efici&#xEA;ncia no ac&#xFA;mulo de massa,
e m&#xE1;xima efici&#xEA;ncia para o n&#xFA;mero de folhas e resposta linear positiva para a proje&#xE7;&#xE3;o de
copa. Assim, o fornecimento de N via foliar &#xE9; uma op&#xE7;&#xE3;o para complementar a aduba&#xE7;&#xE3;o na
cultura do manjeric&#xE3;o na cultivar verde toscano folha de alface at&#xE9; doses de 1166,6 g ha-1 de N,
enquanto na cultivar roxo alfavaca basilic&#xE3;o vermelho as respostas do N via foliar promovem
maior n&#xFA;mero de folhas e proje&#xE7;&#xE3;o de copa, sendo que a produtividade &#xE9; aumentada em doses
acima de 875 g ha-1 de N.

ABSTRACT: 

Productivity of cultivars from Ocimum basilicum at doses of foliar nitrogen .
This study aimed to evaluate doses of nitrogen applied via foliar in two basil cultivars. For this
study we used a factorial design in a randomized block design, the first factor being doses of
N: 0.0; 275; 550; 825; 1100; 1375 g ha-1 and the second the cultivars: basil and purple basil
and Tuscan red green leaf lettuce. The evaluations were conducted in the appearance of
the inflorescence, being evaluated the stem diameter, plant height, number of leaves, crown
projection, fresh and dried leaves and shoots. The results demonstrate that the cultivar green
Tuscan lettuce leaf has higher averages, except for the number of leaves. The mass accumulation
of leaves and shoots was shown in green cultivar with positive responses getting maximum level
of efficiency by reducing only the linearly canopy projection. While in purple cultivar, the foliar
nitrogen doses promoted minimum efficiency in mass accumulation, maximum efficiency for
the number of sheets and a positive linear response to the projection canopy. Thus, the supply
of foliar N is an option to complement fertilization basil growing in cultivar of green Tuscan
lettuce leaf up to doses of 1166.6 g ha-1 N, whereas in the cultivar purple basil Red basil the
foliar N supply promoted greater number of leaves and canopy projection, and the productivity
is increased by doses above 875 g ha-1 N.
