RESUMO: 

Estudos sobre a propaga&#xE7;&#xE3;o de esp&#xE9;cies frut&#xED;feras e com propriedades
medicinais com cultivo ainda n&#xE3;o est&#xE3;o estabelecidos em grande escala no Brasil, como o
caso da rom&#xE3;zeira, com a qual estes estudos ainda s&#xE3;o necess&#xE1;rios para tornar os seus
sistemas de produ&#xE7;&#xE3;o mais eficientes e competitivos. No presente tr4abalho, buscou-se
a obten&#xE7;&#xE3;o de mudas in vitro de rom&#xE3;zeira, por meio de tr&#xEA;s etapas da micropropaga&#xE7;&#xE3;o:
estabelecimento, multiplica&#xE7;&#xE3;o e enraizamento dos explantes. No estabelecimento das
sementes foram comparados diferentes meios de cultura (MS e WPM) com presen&#xE7;a ou
n&#xE3;o de sacarose. Durante a multiplica&#xE7;&#xE3;o, avaliou-se o uso de 2iP e dikegulac de s&#xF3;dio em
diferentes concentra&#xE7;&#xF5;es. Por fim, verificou-se a a&#xE7;&#xE3;o da auxina AIB durante o enraizamento.
Concluiu-se que o meio de cultivo MS + sacarose &#xE9; mais favor&#xE1;vel para a germina&#xE7;&#xE3;o in
vitro das sementes; que o meio WPM + 1 mg.L-1 de 2iP &#xE9; o mais indicado para o crescimento
das brota&#xE7;&#xF5;es; que o uso do dikegulac de s&#xF3;dio (36,59 mg.L-1) favorece o desenvolvimento
de folhas e ra&#xED;zes; e a adi&#xE7;&#xE3;o de 1,5 mg.L-1 de AIB favorece o desenvolvimento do sistema
radicular em rom&#xE3;zeiras in vitro.

ABSTRACT: 

In vitro propagation of pomegranate (Punica granatum Linn.). Studies on the
propagation of cultivated fruit species and with medicinal properties are not yet established on
a large scale in Brazil, such as with pomegranate. Thus, these studies are still needed in order
to make their production systems more efficient and competitive. In our study, we tried to obtain
seedlings in vitro of pomegranate, through three stages of micropropagation: establishment,
multiplication and rooting of explants. In establishing of seeds we compared different culture
media (MS and WPM) in the presence or absence of sucrose. During the multiplication, we
evaluated the use of 2iP and sodium dikegulac at different concentrations. Finally, it was
evaluated the action of auxin IBA for rooting. We concluded that the culture medium MS +
sucrose is the most favorable for in vitro germination of seeds. The WPM medium + 1 mg.L-1
2iP is the most suitable for the growth of shoots; the use of sodium dikegulac (36,59 mg.L-1)
favors the development of leaves and roots, and the addition of 1,5 mg.L-1 IBA favors the in
vitro development of the root system for pomegranates.
