<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Resumo<br/><br/>Foram encontradas seis espécies pertencentes a quatro gêneros de Cucurbitaceae nas formações de canga da Serra<br/>dos Carajás (Pará, Brasil): Cayaponia tayuya, Gurania bignoniacea, G. sinuata, G. subumbellata, Helmontia<br/>cardiophylla e Melothria pendula. São apresentadas descrições detalhadas, comentários e ilustrações das espécies.<br/><br/>Palavras-chave: FLONA Carajás, taxonomia, trepadeiras.<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>Abstract<br/><br/>Six species belonging to four genera of Cucurbitaceae were found in the canga formations of the Serra dos<br/>Carajás (Pará state, Brazil): Cayaponia tayuya, Gurania bignoniacea, G. sinuata, G. subumbellata, Helmontia<br/>cardiophylla e Melothria pendula.Detailed descriptions, comments, and illustrations of the species are presented.<br/><br/>Key words: FLONA Carajás, taxonomy, climbers.
