Resumo:    Rizobact&#xE9;rias promotoras de crescimento em p&#xF3;s-emerg&#xEA;ncia podem aumentar a efici&#xEA;ncia de uso do fertilizante qu&#xED;mico e a produtividade do milho. Objetivou-se avaliar o desempenho agron&#xF4;mico do milho em fun&#xE7;&#xE3;o da aplica&#xE7;&#xE3;o em p&#xF3;s-emerg&#xEA;ncia de Azospirillum brasilensee Bacillussp. e doses de nitrog&#xEA;nio em  cobertura.  O  experimento  foi  conduzido  na  safra  de  ver&#xE3;o  sob  delineamento  experimental em blocos casualizados em esquema fatorial 3 x 3, com seis repeti&#xE7;&#xF5;es. Os tratamentos foram constitu&#xED;dos da aplica&#xE7;&#xE3;o de inoculantes em p&#xF3;s-emerg&#xEA;ncia no milho (AG 2040) (controle sem aplica&#xE7;&#xE3;o; aplica&#xE7;&#xE3;ode Azospirillum brasiliense; e aplica&#xE7;&#xE3;o de Azospirillum brasiliense e Bacillus sp.) e doses de nitrog&#xEA;nio em cobertura (0, 60, 120 kg ha-1). Avaliou-se: &#xED;ndice de clorofila foliar, teor de nitrog&#xEA;nio, &#xE1;rea foliar, di&#xE2;metro do colmo, altura de inser&#xE7;&#xE3;o da espiga, altura da planta, comprimento da espiga, n&#xFA;mero de fileiras por espiga, n&#xFA;mero de gr&#xE3;os por espiga, massa de cem gr&#xE3;os e produtividade. A aplica&#xE7;&#xE3;o de Azospirillum brasilense e Bacillus sp., bem como a aduba&#xE7;&#xE3;o nitrogenada de cobertura com 120 kg ha-1elevam teor de clorofila no milho. A aplica&#xE7;&#xE3;o conjunta das bact&#xE9;rias aumenta ainda o di&#xE2;metro do colmo da cultura. A Azospirillum brasilense associada a aplica&#xE7;&#xE3;o de 60 kg ha-1de nitrog&#xEA;nio em cobertura incrementa o n&#xFA;mero de fileiras de gr&#xE3;os por espiga. A aplica&#xE7;&#xE3;o  de Azospirillum  brasilense e/ou Bacillus sp.  em  p&#xF3;s-emerg&#xEA;ncia  no  milho  associada  com  a aduba&#xE7;&#xE3;o nitrogenada de cobertura n&#xE3;o promove aumento no desempenho produtivo da cultura.

Abstract:   The  use  of post-emergence  with  plant  growth-promoting  bacteria  can  increase  the  efficiency  of chemical fertilizer use and grain yield. The objective of this study was to evaluate the agronomic performance of cornas  a  function  of  the  post-emergence applicationof Azospirillum  brasilenseand Bacillussp.  and topdressing nitrogen rates. The experiment was conducted in the summer crop under a randomized complete block design in factorial 3 x 3, with six replications. The treatments consisted of the application of inoculants in post-emergence in corn(control without application;application of Azospirillum brasiliense;and application of Azospirillum brasiliense and Bacillus sp.) and topdressing nitrogen rates (0, 60, 120 kg ha-1). Leaf chlorophyll index, nitrogen content, leaf area, stem diameter, ear insertion height, plant height, ear length, number of rows per ear, number of grains per ear, mass of one hundred grains and grain yield were evaluated. Post-emergence applicationof Azospirillum brasilense and Bacillus sp., as well as topdressing nitrogen fertilization of 120 kg ha-1increased  chlorophyll  content  in corn. The  joint  application  of  the  bacteria  further  increases  the  stem diameter of the culture.The application of Azospirillum brasilense associated with the application of 60 kg ha-1of  topdressing nitrogen  increasedthe  number  of  rows  of  grains  per  ear. Post-emergence  application of Azospirillum brasilense and/or Bacillussp. associated with topdressing nitrogen fertilization did not promote the productive performance of the crop.
