Resumo

Apresentamos o tratamento taxonômico de Olacaceae para as formações de canga da Serra dos Carajás, onde
foram registrados dois gêneros e duas espécies: Heisteria ovata e Ximenia americana. Este trabalho inclui
uma chave de identificação, as descrições, os comentários e as ilustrações das espécies.

Abstract

Here we present the taxonomic treatment of Olacaceae in the canga formations in Serra dos Carajás, where
two genera and two species were recorded: Heisteria ovata and Ximenia americana. This work includes a
identification key, descriptions, comments and illustration for the species.
