Resumo:    Em  estudos  envolvendo  pares  de  esp&#xE9;cies,  espera-se que  t&#xE1;xons  filogeneticamente  pr&#xF3;ximos apresentem maior similaridade ecol&#xF3;gica. Resultados contr&#xE1;rios sugerem a exist&#xEA;ncia de algum mecanismo que possibilite a coexist&#xEA;ncia. Neste estudo foram utilizados dados do uso do micro-habitat, composi&#xE7;&#xE3;o da dieta  e  de  morfometria  para  investigar  a  rela&#xE7;&#xE3;o  de  nicho  entre Boana  semilineata e Boana  pombali que vivem  em  sintopia  em  fragmentos  de  Mata  Atl&#xE2;ntica. As  duas  esp&#xE9;cies  foram  encontradas  nos  mesmos riachos   e   brejos,   mas   apresentaram   prefer&#xEA;ncias   por   diferentes   micro-habitat   e   micro-habitat   de vocaliza&#xE7;&#xE3;o. A an&#xE1;lise com modelo nulo evidenciou aus&#xEA;ncia de competi&#xE7;&#xE3;o no uso do espa&#xE7;o. Cole&#xF3;pteros e  &#xE1;caros  foram  os  itens  alimentares  mais  importantes  para B.  semilineata,  enquanto  ort&#xF3;pteros   e cole&#xF3;pteros foram os mais importantes para B. pombali. N&#xE3;o foram identificadas diferen&#xE7;as na composi&#xE7;&#xE3;o de  presas  na  dieta  das  duas  esp&#xE9;cies. A  an&#xE1;lise  com  modelo  nulo  evidenciou  aus&#xEA;ncia  de  competi&#xE7;&#xE3;o  no nicho  alimentar. Boana  semilineata  apresentou  corpo  maior  do  que B.  pombali  e  as  vari&#xE1;veis  da  cabe&#xE7;a  e pernas foram as mais relevantes na distin&#xE7;&#xE3;o das esp&#xE9;cies. Apesar disso, n&#xE3;o foi encontrada rela&#xE7;&#xE3;o entre forma  do  corpo  e  composi&#xE7;&#xE3;o  da  presa  ou  forma  do  corpo  e  uso  de  microhabitat.  As  duas  esp&#xE9;cies apresentam  parti&#xE7;&#xE3;o  no  nicho  espacial  e  formas  do  corpo  diferente.  Apesar  disso,  &#xE9;  poss&#xED;vel  que  outros descritores do habitat/micro-habitat, bem como intera&#xE7;&#xE3;o com outras esp&#xE9;cies, exer&#xE7;am papel relevante na rela&#xE7;&#xE3;o de nicho entre os dois hil&#xED;deos.

Abstract:    On  studies  involving  pairs  of  species,  it  is  expected  that  closely  related  taxa  present  greater ecological  similarity. Adverse  results  suggest  the existence  of  some mechanism  that  allows  coexistence.  In this study  we used data of microhabitat using, diet composition and morphometrics to investigate the niche relationship  between Boana  semilineata  and Boana  pombali  that  live  in  syntopy  in  Atlantic  Rainforest fragments. Both species were found in the same streams and swamps, but showed preferences for different microhabitats and calling microhabitats. The null model analysis showed absence of competition in the space use.  Coleoptera  and  acari  were  the  most  important  items  for B.  semilineata,  while  orthopterans  and coleopterans  were  the  most  important  items  for B.  pombali.  No  differences  in  prey  composition  were identified between two species. The null model analysis showed absence of competition in the feeding niche. Boana  semilineata presented  larger  body  than  B.  pombali and  head  and  hindlegs  variables  were  more relevant  in  the  distinction  between  the  two  species.  Despite  this,  no  relationship  was  found  between  body shape  and  prey  composition  or  body  shape  and  microhabitat  use.  The  species  showed  differences  in  the spatial  niche  and  body  shape.  However,  it  is  possible  that  other  habitat/microhabitat  descriptors,  as well  as interaction  with  other  species  play  a  relevant  role  in  the  niche  relationship  between  the  two  hylids.
