Resumo

Este estudo inclui as espécies de Turneraceae ocorrentes na vegetação de canga da Serra dos Carajás, no
estado do Pará, Brasil, trazendo descrições detalhadas, chaves de identificação, comentários morfológicos e
fotografias das espécies. Foram registradas quatro espécies, pertencentes ao gênero Turnera: T. coerulea, T.
glaziovii, T. melochioides e T. laciniata, esta última, endêmica do estado.

Abstract

This study includes the species of Turneraceae recorded for the canga vegetation of the Serra dos Carajás,
Pará state. It provides identification keys, detailed descriptions, illustrations, morphological comments and
photographs of the species. Four species were registered, all of them for the genus Turnera: T. coerulea, T.
glaziovii, T. melochioides and T. laciniata, the latter, endemic to the state.
