Resumo

Este trabalho consiste no levantamento florístico das Bignoniaceae na vegetação de canga da Serra dos Carajás,
Pará, Brasil. A família está representada na região por 13 espécies distribuídas em oito gêneros: Amphilophium
(2 spp.), Anemopaegma (2 spp.), Bignonia (1 sp.), Fridericia (3 spp.), Jacaranda (1 sp.), Lundia (1 sp.),
Pachyptera (1 sp.), e Pleonotoma (2 spp.). Apresentamos descrições, chaves para a identificação, ilustrações
e comentários. Uma espécie nova, Anemopaegma carajasense, é descrita e ilustrada.

Abstract

This work is a floristic survey of the Bignoniaceae in canga vegetation of the Serra dos Carajás, Pará, Brazil.
The family is represented in this region by 13 species distributed in eight genera: Amphilophium (2 spp.),
Anemopaegma (2 spp.), Bignonia (1 sp.), Fridericia (3 spp.), Jacaranda (1 sp.), Lundia (1 sp.), Pachyptera
(1 sp.), and Pleonotoma (2 spp.). We present descriptions, identification keys, illustrations and comments. A
new species, Anemopaegma carajasense, is described and illustrated.
