RESUMO:   A produ&#xE7;&#xE3;o de mudas com qualidade &#xE9; influenciada por diversos fatores, sendo o substrato um dos mais importantes para as esp&#xE9;cies frut&#xED;feras. Assim, objetivou-se com este estudo avaliar e selecionar substratos alternativos para a produ&#xE7;&#xE3;o de mudas de maracujazeiro-amarelo em Roraima. O trabalho foi realizado em Boa Vista na Universidade Federal de Roraima. Os substratos utilizados foram: solo, composto comercial OrganoAmazon&#xAE;, vermicomposto PuroHumus&#xAE;, casca de arroz carbonizada, casca de arroz in natura e p&#xF3;-de-serra. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi inteiramente casualizado, em esquema fatorial 2 &#xD7; 18, sendo duas cultivares de maracujazeiro-amarelo (Golden Star e Imperial) e dezoito substratos confeccionados por meio de misturas. As vari&#xE1;veis analisadas ap&#xF3;s 60 dias foram: altura da parte a&#xE9;rea (H), di&#xE2;metro do caule (DC),comprimento radicular (CR), n&#xFA;mero de folhas (NF), mat&#xE9;ria seca total (MST), mat&#xE9;ria seca da parte a&#xE9;rea (MSA), mat&#xE9;ria seca das ra&#xED;zes (MSR) e os &#xED;ndice de qualidade das mudas. Os substratos confeccionados com 50% PuroHumus&#xAE;+ 50% Solo (S5) e 25% OrganoAmazon&#xAE;+ 25%PuroHumus&#xAE;+ 50% Solo (S12) favorecem a obten&#xE7;&#xE3;o de mudas de maior qualidade na cultivar Golden Star. Os substratos formulados com 25% PuroHumus&#xAE;+ 25% p&#xF3;-de-serra + 50% Solo (S18),50% PuroHumus&#xAE;+ 50% Solo (S5) e 25% OrganoAmazon&#xAE;+ 25% PuroHumus&#xAE;+ 50% Solo (S12)s&#xE3;o indicados para a produ&#xE7;&#xE3;o de mudas da cultivar Imperial. A utiliza&#xE7;&#xE3;o de solo puro ou em mistura com casca de arroz (carbonizada ou in natura), p&#xF3;-de-serra ou OrganoAmazon&#xAE; n&#xE3;o &#xE9; indicada para a produ&#xE7;&#xE3;o de mudas de maracujazeiro-amarelo.

ABSTRACT:   The production ofquality seedlings is influenced by several factors, the substrate being one of the most important for fruit species. Thus, the objective ofthis study was to evaluate and select alternative substrates for the production ofyellow passion fruit seedlings in Roraima. The work was carried out in Boa Vista at the Federal University of Roraima. The substrates used were:Soil, commercial compound OrganoAmazon&#xAE;, vermicompost PuroHumus&#xAE;, carbonized rice husk,fresh rice husk and sawdust. The experimental design used was completely randomized, in a 2 &#xD7; 18factorial scheme, with two cultivars of yellow passion fruit (Golden Star and Imperial) and eighteen substrates made using mixtures. The variables analyzed after 60 days were: shoot height (H), stemdiameter (DC), root length (CR), number of leaves (NF), total dry matter (MST), shoot dry matter(MSA), root dry matter (MSR) and seedling quality index. The substrates made with 50%PuroHumus&#xAE;+ 50% Soil (S5) and 25% OrganoAmazon&#xAE;+ 25% PuroHumus&#xAE;+ 50% Soil (S12)favor obtaining higher quality seedlings in the Golden Star cultivar. The substrates formulated with25% PuroHumus&#xAE;+ 25% sawdust + 50% Soil (S18), 50% PuroHumus&#xAE;+ 50% Soil (S5) and 25%OrganoAmazon&#xAE;+ 25% PuroHumus&#xAE;+ 50% Soil (S12) are indicated for the production of seedlings of the Imperial cultivar. The use of pure soil orin mixture with rice husks (carbonized or innatura), sawdust or OrganoAmazon&#xAE;is not indicated for the production of yellow passion fruit seedlings.
