Resumo  &#x2013;     No  dimensionamento  de  estruturas  de  drenagem  &#xE9;  necess&#xE1;rio  o  conhecimento  das  intensidades  de  chuva  de curta  dura&#xE7;&#xE3;o.  No  entanto,  tais  informa&#xE7;&#xF5;es  nem  sempre  est&#xE3;o  dispon&#xED;veis.  O  m&#xE9;todo  da  desagrega&#xE7;&#xE3;o  da  chuva  m&#xE1;xima di&#xE1;ria &#xE9; amplamente uti lizado para a esti mativa da chuva em locais com aus&#xEA;ncia de dados pluviogr&#xE1;ficos. Esse estudo teve o objetivo de ajustar uma equa&#xE7;&#xE3;o alternativa para a obten&#xE7;&#xE3;o das rela&#xE7;&#xF5;es Intensidade-Dura&#xE7;&#xE3;o-Frequ&#xEA;ncia de chuvas pela desagrega&#xE7;&#xE3;o  da  chuva  m&#xE1;xima  di&#xE1;ria  com  base  nas  rela&#xE7;&#xF5;es  entre  chuvas  intensas  de  diferentes  dura&#xE7;&#xF5;es  observadas  em Santa Catarina. As equa&#xE7;&#xF5;es ajustadas permitem estimar a altura pluviom&#xE9;trica e a intensidade da chuva para dura&#xE7;&#xF5;es entre5 e 1.440 minutos. O modelo ajustado para Santa Catarina apresenta valores de at&#xE9; 17% inferiores aos obtidos para o modelo ajustado para o Brasil.

Abstract  &#x2013;     In  the  design  of  drainage  structures,  it  is  necessary  to  know  the  intensities  of  short-term  rain.  However,  such informati on is not always available. The method of disaggregating maximum daily rainfall is widely used to esti mate rainfall in locations with no pluviograph data. This study had the objective of adjusting an alternative equation to obtain the intensity-durati on-frequency relations of rains, through the disaggregation of maximum daily rain based on the relationship between intense rains of different durations observed in Santa Catarina, Brazil. The adjusted equations allow to esti mate the rain height and  the  intensity  of  the  rain,  for  durations  between  5  and  1.440  minutes.  The  model  adjusted  for  Santa  Catarina  presents values up to 17% lower than those obtained for the model adjusted for Brazil.
