    <subfield code="a">Allelopathic effect of Tecoma stanson the germination and initial growth of Lactuca sativa and three native species from the Pirap&#xF3; River Basin-PRWith  the  aim  to  assess  the  possible  allelopathic  activity  of Tecoma  stans (L.)  Juss.  ex  Kunth (yellowing) on germination and early growth of lettuce and three native species, through laboratory bioassays,  aqueous  extracts  of  leaves  of T.  stanswere  obtained,  collected  several  specimens.    In germination bioassays, cypselae lettuce and seeds of native species were subjected to aqueous extracts of T. stansat concentrations of 1, 2, 4, 8 and 10% distilled water as a control. For analyze the initial growth was obtained root length and hypocotyl of seedlings subjected to different aqueous extracts. The  extracts  of T. stansthe  higher  concentrations  inhibited  germination  of Lactuca  sativaL., Peltophorum  dubium (Spreng). Taub.,  Parapiptadenia  rigida (Benth)  Brenam  and Anadenanthera colubrina (Vell.)  Brenan  and  negatively  influenced  the  early  growth  of  the  seedlings.  As for  the germination percentage, T. stans presented 100%, showing the potential of this plant, compared to the  tested  native  species  that  presented  significantly  lower  values.  Thus, T.  stanswould  have  an advantage  over  the  other  species,  as  it  has  higher  PG  and  an  allelopathic  effect,  affecting  TMG, primary  root  length  (PRC)  and initial growth,  which  could  compromise  the  establishment of  these native species in the environment.

    <subfield code="a">Com o objetivo de avaliar a poss&#xED;vel atividade alelop&#xE1;tica de Tecoma stans (L.) Juss. ex Kunth (ama-relinho) sobre a germina&#xE7;&#xE3;o e o crescimento inicvial de alface e de tr&#xEA;s esp&#xE9;cies nativas, por meio de bioensaios  laboratoriais,  foram  obtidos  extratos  aquosos  de  folhas  de T.  stans,  coletadas  de  v&#xE1;rios esp&#xE9;cimes. Nos bioensaios de germina&#xE7;&#xE3;o, cipselas de alface e sementes das esp&#xE9;cies nativas foram submetidas a extratos aquosos de T. stans nas concentra&#xE7;&#xF5;es de 1, 2, 4, 8 e 10% e &#xE1;gua destilada como controle.  Para  an&#xE1;lise  do  crescimento  inicial  foi  obtido  o  comprimento  da  raiz  e  do  hipoc&#xF3;tilo  de pl&#xE2;ntulas submetidas aos diferentes extratos aquosos. As concentra&#xE7;&#xF5;es mais altas dos extratos de T. stans inibiram a germina&#xE7;&#xE3;o de Lactuca sativa L., Peltophorum dubium (Spreng). Taub., Parapiptadenia rigida (Benth.) Brenam e Anadenanthera colubrina (Vell.) Brenan e influenciaram negativamente o crescimento inicial das pl&#xE2;ntulas. Quanto a porcentagem de germina&#xE7;&#xE3;o, T. stans apresentou 100%, evidenciando o potencial desta planta, comparado as esp&#xE9;cies nativas testadas que apresentaram valores significativamente inferiores. Com isso, T. stansteria vantagem sobre as demais esp&#xE9;cies, por apresentar maior PG e efeito alelop&#xE1;tico, afetando o TMG, o comprimento da raiz prim&#xE1;ria (CRP) e  o  crescimento  inicial,  o  que  poderia  comprometer  o  estabelecimento  dessas  esp&#xE9;cies  nativas  no ambiente.
