<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Resumo<br/><br/>O presente estudo faz parte da série de monografias taxonômicas realizadas para o Ceará. A partir de<br/>observações de campo e análise de materiais de herbário foram registradas 17 espécies, pertencentes aos<br/>gêneros Banara, Casearia, Prockia e Xylosma. As áreas do Norte do Planalto da Ibiapaba, Serra da Meruoca<br/>e Maciços de Baturite e Uruburetama são as mais ricas em espécies, enquanto que o maior número de registros<br/>de coletas está na Chapada do Araripe e adjacências. Chave de identificação, descrições, ilustrações, dados<br/>de distribuição geográfica e habitat são apresentados.<br/><br/>Palavras-chave: angiospermas, Caatinga, Flacourtiaceae, nordeste, taxonomia.<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>Abstract<br/><br/>The present study is part of the series of taxonomic monographs carried out for Ceará. Based on the analysis<br/>of herbarium material and field observations, 17 species belonging to Banara, Casearia, Prockia and Xylosma<br/>were recorded. The areas North of the Ibiapaba and Meruoca Plateau and Massifs of Baturite and Uruburetama<br/>are the richest in species, while the highest number of collection records is in the Araripe Plateau and adjacent<br/>areas. Identification keys, descriptions, illustrations, distribution and habitat data are provided.<br/><br/>Key words: angiosperms, Caatinga, Flacourtiaceae, Northeast, taxonomy.
