Resumo &#x2013;      O uso de agrot&#xF3;xicos pode representar riscos &#xE0; seguran&#xE7;a alimentar, particularmente no Brasil, que, desde 2008, &#xE9; o maior consumidor mundial. O objetivo principal deste estudo &#xE9; investigar a presen&#xE7;a de res&#xED;duos de agrot&#xF3;xicos em alimentos in  natura  comercializados  na  regi&#xE3;o  Oeste  de  Santa  Catarina  entre  os  anos  de  2013  e  2018,  utilizando  dados  do  Programa Alimento Sem Risco (PASR). A s&#xE9;rie hist&#xF3;rica abrange 23 alimentos, coletados em pontos de comercializa&#xE7;&#xE3;o e estabelecimentos rurais, e agrupados em tr&#xEA;s categorias: sem res&#xED;duo, com res&#xED;duo, e desconformes. Os resultados demonstram que, em m&#xE9;dia, 17% das amostras analisadas entre 2013 e 2018 est&#xE3;o em condi&#xE7;&#xE3;o desconforme. Destaque para o piment&#xE3;o, que apresentou 70%  das  amostras  nessa  condi&#xE7;&#xE3;o.  A  desconformidade  &#xE9;,  na  maioria  das  vezes,  causada  pela  identifica&#xE7;&#xE3;o  de  ingredientes ativos sem registro para cultura. Os ingredientes ativos identificados em 97% das amostras correspondem a inseticidas (54%) e fungicidas (43%). Os resultados refor&#xE7;am a import&#xE2;ncia do monitoramento, da fiscaliza&#xE7;&#xE3;o e de pr&#xE1;ticas agr&#xED;colas capazes de mitigar riscos do uso de agrot&#xF3;xicos para o meio ambiente e a sa&#xFA;de humana.

Abstract &#x2013;      The use of pesticides can pose risks to food safety, particularly in Brazil, which has been the world&#x2019;s largest consumer since 2008. The main objective of this study is to investigate the presence of pesticide residues in fresh foods sold in the West region of Santa Catarina between 2013 and 2018, using data from the Food Without Risk Program (PASR). The database covers 23 foods, collected from markets and rural establishments, and grouped into three categories: No residue, With residue, and Non-compliant.  The  results  demonstrate  that,  on  average,  17%  of  the  samples  analyzed  between  2013  and  2018  are  non-compliant. Notably, bell peppers with 70% of samples non-compliant. Non-compliance is mostly caused by the identification of active ingredients without registration. 97% of the identified active ingredients correspond to insecticides (54%) and fungicides (43%). These results emphasize the importance of monitoring, oversight, and agricultural practices capable of mitigating the risks of pesticide use on the environment and human health.
